- News May 15, 2026 Request for Expressions of Interest: Next-Generation Registry Services Partner We are seeking to modernize our registry platform for our carbon crediting operations to meet current and future operational, technical, and market requirements. We invite entities interested in supporting the design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of a next-generation registry platform, including functions related to project data management and the tracking of carbon credits throughout their lifecycle, to submit an expression of interest by Monday, June 8, 2026, 5 pm Pacific Time. - News April 9, 2026 The Reserve is introducing a new modular protocol structure. Public comments are due by April 27. The Climate Action Reserve is introducing a new modular protocol structure to improve the efficiency of protocol development, streamline revisions and updates, and facilitate the expansion of protocols to additional jurisdictions. This approach separates protocols into a Common Protocol covering common requirements applicable across jurisdictions, and Jurisdictional Modules that address location-specific conditions, with additional Technical Guidance Modules where needed. The Reserve is now seeking public comment on the proposed structure and draft Program Manual updates. Comments are due by April 27, 2026. Read more →
