The Mexico Boiler Efficiency Protocol addresses GHG emission reductions associated with energy efficiency improvements to commercial and industrial boilers in Mexico of 9.8 MW or larger. Project activities credited by the protocol include installing new high-efficiency boilers and retrofitting existing boilers. This protocol was developed with the support of Mexico’s Secretariat of Energy (SENER) and USAID through the Mexico Low Emissions Development Program (MLED), implemented by Tetra Tech.
